The bullshit Apple Beats deal

My meta commentary:

Nobody understands it. The best people don’t.

All the stated reasons are actually BAD reasons – brand, licenses, software know how, hardware know how, channels, marketing.

Even defense – who on earth would pay $1bn or $2bn for this?

And another bad reason – Tim Cook is confident enough now to…do dumb stuff

And another – Tim Cook is dumb after all… So Mr Cautious becomes Mr Reckless with a huge deal.

PLUS how on earth could Apple respect itself after this public shaming in the pre-announcement.

So: reductio as absurdum. I say the rumor must be false.

Let’s see if logic beats Twitter this time.
