The first time you do something, the app should say “You did X. Cool!”
Some apps focus on this for their core interaction.
But apps should totally do this for things they want to teach you.
E.g., tooltips make sense as hints before you learn the keyboard shortcut
Well, the first time you do it, there should be a little ‘power up’ confirming that you found something or did something cool.
