I am amazed if they don’t do this already but they should.
When you type in a touch keyboard it should treat fast typing as “relational” not “absolute”.
Slow typing is probably aimed well and not by kinesthetic approximation.
Fast typing is as much about where your last finger fall was as the true location of the G button.
When someone is typing fast, the UI should follow their fingers.
So you can type without looking eventually. Your pattern will make words.
Try it some time on the iPhone. It works for me.
