Genius CEO of a soon-to-be-public company says:
“I have this idea about enterprise software. It all replaces paper forms. You enter information and it moves it around for people to press OK or Next or Yes buttons. Replace this with something that makes decisions.”
This recalls the great Peter Drucker who I am reading lately. “The computer won’t replace the knowledge worker. It makes her decisions more important. The computer gets the information and moves it around. The worker decides.”
To do: find something that looks like workflow and replace it with a robot that helps make the right call.
