A secret about VCs

They are incredibly polite and responsive amongst themselves.

They read emails and reply quickly. Say things like “thank you” and
“please” and “forgive me”. They hand write most mails, though brief.

They rarely mention their partners or tough decisions or “getting there” or
cheering from sidelines or anywhere really. They mostly just say “yes” or
“sorry but no”.

So if they aren’t replying to you or treating you poorly, you are a
company.

There is a third type of interlocutor and holy crap you will not believe
this but this third type actually gets proactive outreach. Newsletters.
Invitations. Phone call followups. Can you guess who it is?
